KARACHI, Feb 19: Two container ships were accommodated berths at the QICT during last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Monday.

Meanwhile, one more ship carrying furnace oil, edible oil and containers also arrived at the outer anchorage. Berth occupancy stood at 70 per cent as seven ships, Palermo, Rosa-M, Master Nicos, Andreas-K, Bon Plata and Keefan, were busy in loading and offloading containers, rice, edible oil and furnace oil.

A cargo volume of 30,062 tons comprising 15,564 tons of import and 14,498 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Sailing was active as Gas Chios, Keefan, Gothen Burg, Rosa and Palermo left the port while Al-Jaber, Keefan and Sima Pride were due to depart.
