Man killed, two injured

QUETTA, Feb 12: One person was killed and two others suffered injuries when armed men opened fire at a shop near Askrai Park on Monday night.

Police source said that two persons riding a motorcycle came at the shop and one of them opened indiscriminate fire killing the shopkeeper, Mohammad Zaman, on the spot. Two other persons — Mohammad Amin and Abdullah – suffered bullet injuries. The attackers managed to flee.

The injured were taken to civil hospital.

Motive behind the killing was not known, police said, adding that they had started investigation after registering the case.—Correspondent
