The vehicles will be provided to the court police in all districts and 10 of them will be given to the Karachi court police.

A home department official told this scribe funds for the purpose had been allocated and the concerned officials directed to expedite the process, so that the vehicles could be provided by March 31 this year.

“With the induction of the new vehicles, the process of UTPs production will accelerate, which would have a positive impact on the overall conditions of the prisons and maximum of the people would be able to get speedy justice,” the source expressed the hope.
