KARACHI, Feb 7: Seven ships carrying steel coils, chemicals and to load naphtha and ethanol are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where six vessels, APL Delian, Mac Aandresew Swala to unload and load containers, Sinar Kudus to offload general cargo Multi-Trader, to load rice, Splandour and Stolt Ami, both oil tankers, were berthed.

Seven ships including Mac Aandresew Swala, Taiyoh-2, Shalamar, D.D.Vigor, Iron Butterfly, Frederike Oldendorf and Sinar Kudus departed on Wednesday, while Alf-15, APL Dalian, Corin Thakios, Splandour and Red Sea Spirit are due to sail out on Thursday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where a total tonnage of 67,111 tons comprising 12,687 tons of export cargo and 54,424 tons of import cargo was handled.

The following ships are due on Thursday: Breezy Victoria to load naphtha, Star-1, to load ethanol, Al-Marwah, to offload chemicals, Eric G.Gibson, Y.M.Energy, with containers and Lihai, with steel coils.
