KARACHI, Feb 7: A high-ranking Swiss business delegation, led by Switzerland’s Undersecretary of State of Economy, will visit Pakistan next week on a fact-finding mission.

This was stated by Swiss consul-general, Mr Martin Bienz, during his meeting with Majyd Aziz, President, and members of KCCI at the first meeting of the diplomatic affairs sub-committee of the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Wednesday.

The consul-general informed that the delegation, led by Ms Monika Ruhl Burzi, would get first-hand impression on the current economic framework in Pakistan and explore opportunities for trade and investment.

He further stated that in recent months various new Swiss companies have expanded their business to Pakistan in the areas of logistics, airport ground services, timber, and sales and marketing of assembly materials."—PPI
