KARACHI, Jan 22: Three ships to load/offload containers, edible oil and crude oil were accommodated berths at QICT, MPT and Fotco Terminal during the last 24 hours, said a press conference.

Meanwhile, three more ships carrying chemicals, containers and HSD oil also arrived at the outer anchorage. Berth occupancy was maintained at 70pc as seven ships, America, Venus-7, Annie Sierra, Sea Express, Sea Luck-II, Fair Sprit and Capt. George-L, were busy in loading and unloading containers, rice, edible oil canola seed, crude oil and iron ore.A cargo volume of 66,233 tons comprising 57,393 tons of import and 8,840 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Sailing was active as Lucia and America left the port while Capt. George-L was due to depart.
