Multan tie heading for draw

LAHORE, Jan 20: An invaluable knock of 67 by Nauman Ali helped Hyderabad avoid the follow-on against Multan in the Quaid-i-Azam Trophy Silver League match at the Multan Cricket Stadium on Saturday.

After starting the third day at 201 for five, Hyderabad reached 339 in reply to Multan’s first-innings total of 422.

Multan increased the overall lead to 223 by making 140-5 in the second innings.
