KARACHI: Guard among three shot dead

KARACHI, Jan 20: Three people were shot dead on Saturday. A labourer, Shakil Ahmed, 29, was shot dead at a construction site on Khalid Bin Waleed Road. The body was shifted to the Jinnah hospital. He was a resident of Azeempura.

Two unknown bandits shot dead a security guard in the limits of the Steel Town police. The dead was shifted to the JPMC where he was identified as Mohammed Afzal. The assailant also took away his rifle.

The 60-year-old owner of a laundry shop was shot dead in the Khawaja Ajmair Nagri police area. The victim was at his shop when two armed men opened fire at him, killing him instantly.
