Seven clinics sealed

ISLAMABAD, Jan 15: District Health Officer Dr Fazl-i-Maula conducted surprise raids in Bhara Kahu, Shahdra and Noorpur Shahan on Monday and sealed seven clinics. The DHO said seven cases had been registered against quacks under the PMDC ordinance 1999, adding that notices and warning had also been issued to as many as 15 clinics.

He said boards of fake clinics were also removed from the clinics. Further legal action is also being initiated against the quacks who were using the names of qualified practitioners and had erected fake boards.—APP
