PESHAWAR: Hindko Mushaira held

PESHAWAR, Jan 14: The Gandhara Hindko Board on Sunday organised a Mushaira near the historical Gor Gahtri monument. Hindko poet Sabir Hussain Imdad presided over the event and Ahmad Nadeem Awan hosted the programme, said a press release.

Thirty Hindko poets turned up at the gathering and recited their works in different genres.

Gandhara Hindko Board secretary Mohammad Ziauddin welcomed the newcomers to the recital session and said that such events were motivating and bringing to the forth a new breed of Hindko poets and giving them opportunities to meet senior literati.—Correspondent
