LAHORE, Jan 12: Despite a superb century by Naved Latif, Faisalabad were all out for a modest 250 against defending champions Sialkot on the first day of the Quaid-i-Azam Trophy Gold League tie at the Jinnah Stadium in Sialkot on Friday.

Naved, the former Test right-hander, made a 162-ball 126 with the help of 16 fours and three sixes to revive Faisalabad’s hopes after the first five batsmen had gone for 47 runs.

Paceman Kashif claimed five for 50.

Sialkot suffered a setback when skipper Imran Nazir was forced to retire hurt with his score on 16. The home side also Shahid Yousuf for six to end the day at 26 for one.
