LONDON, Jan 11: The euro fell sharply against the dollar here on Thursday on remarks from the head of the European Central Bank suggesting that a hike in eurozone interest rates would not come before March. The single European currency in late-day trade was at $1.2906 after $1.2935 late Wednesday in New York. The euro at one point fell to $1.2887, its lowest level since November 22, 2006.—AFP
