KARACHI, Jan 7: The classes for the new academic session 2007 at the University of Karachi will begin from January 8. This was stated by the KU vice-chancellor, Prof Dr Pirzada Qasim Raza Siddiqui. He said that orientation sessions were arranged at the campus on Saturday and the attendance of the new entrants on Saturday was almost 100 per cent. Dr Pirzada pointed out that this academic session also marked the beginning of four-year Bachelor of Studies (BS) programme.—APP
