By Our Staff Reporter

KARACHI, Dec 20: Two more suspects have been arrested in the liquor tragedy that had left six people, including a couple, dead on Monday. DIG Investigation Manzoor Mughal said on Wednesday that the two alleged suppliers of substandard liquor who were still at large had been arrested in Mauripur area. He identified them as Rajindar and Babli.

Earlier, a rickshaw driver, Krishna, was arrested as one of the suppliers.

The suspects were being interrogated and further arrests could not be ruled out, the DIG added.

An FIR (No.578/2006) of the case has already been registered at the Boat Basin police station.
