LONDON, Dec 12: World crude prices rallied on Tuesday as Opec ministers began arriving in Nigeria ahead of an output meeting later this week.

New York’s main contract, light sweet crude for delivery in January, jumped 73 cents to $61.95 per barrel in pit trading.

In London, Brent North Sea crude for January delivery gained 55 cents to $62.39 in electronic trading.—AFP
