Gas supply to CNG outlets restored

By Our Staff Reporter

KARACHI, Nov 21: Chairman CNG Station Owners Association of Pakistan (CSOAP) Malik Khuda Bux has said that the supply of gas has been restored to 60 CNG stations out of 77, and supply to two more stations would be allowed on Wednesday.

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) had issued orders in the second week of this month to two gas utilities for suspending supply to 77 stations all over the country after finding that these stations were using defective cylinders for storage of CNG at their stations.

Chairman CNG Dealers Association of Pakistan Abdul Sami Khan also confirmed that the gas supply had been restored to 60 CNG stations after they replaced the defective cylinders.
