NBP struggle against ZTBL

KARACHI, Nov 12: Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited (ZTBL) were in strong position against defending champions National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) in their Patrons Trophy grade-I match at the NBP Sports Complex on Sunday.

Responding to ZTBL’s mammoth total of 440, NBP were struggling at 83 for loss of five wickets on close of the second day’s play. They still need 207 more runs to avoid the follow-on.

ZTBL skipper Rao Iftikhar and Kashif Dawood took two wickets each.

Earlier, ZTBL added 173 to their overnight score of 267.
