IJT protest

By Our Correspondent

GUJRANWALA, Oct 20: Activists of the Islami Jamiat Tulaba took out a protest procession on Friday against the expulsion of the Punjab University students and launch of music classes.

They demanded that the university administration should immediately do away with the music classes and re-admit the students.

Assembling outside the Jamia Masjid Baitul Mukaram in Model Town after the prayer, they demonstrated on various roads and yelled slogans against the PU administration and the government.

They threatened that they would launch a protest movement after Eidul Fitr if the expelled students were not enrolled once again.

KILLED: A child was killed when the gun of a mosque guard went off accidentally in Kamoki on Friday.
