The rally organised by the MMA was held after Friday prayers outside Jamia mosque, Binnori Town which was addressed by Prof Ghafoor Ahmad, Hafiz Hussain Ahmad, Abdul Haleem Ghauri, Allama Nazir Abbas and Nasrullah Shaji.

The ISO rally started from the mausoleum of Quad-i-Azam and culminated after marching through MA Jinnah Road to the Regal Chowk. About 4,000 people, including 1,000 women, marched through the busy artery. Hundreds of people carried portraits ofAyatollah Khomeini, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Hassan Nasrallah.
