Strike against abduction continues

KHAIRPUR, Oct 14: Thari Mirwah town remained completely closed on Saturday, the third consecutive day of strike, in protest against the kidnapping of two Jogi women, Alam Khatoon and Munawar Khatoon.

All the educational institutions remained closed during the strike. There are reports the Jogi women were kidnapped allegedly in retaliation by the Shar community after a woman went missing earlier.—BoC
