KARACHI, Sept 29: The speaker of Sindh Assembly, Syed Muzaffar Hussain Shah, on Friday took oath as the acting governor in the absence of Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad Khan, who has left for United Arab Emirates on a two-day private visit.
The chief justice of the Sindh High Court, Justice Sabihuddin Ahmed, administered the oath to Mr Shah in a ceremony held at the Governor's House.
Secretaries and other provincial senior officers, military and civil officers, lawyers and journalists also attended the ceremony.—PPI
