KARACHI, Sept 12: The examination department of the University of Karachi on Tuesday announced the last date for acceptance of the examination forms and fee of BA, BCom, BOL and BSc (improvement of division) for annual examination 2006.
A KU notification issued here said the examination forms with fee Rs1,400 for BA, BCom part-I, Rs1,400 for part-II, and Rs2,600 for both parts would be accepted from Sept 16 to 23.
The examination forms with late fee of Rs500 would be accepted from Sept 25 to Oct 16.
Golden jubilee: The department of Library and Information Science, University of Karachi is holding its golden jubilee celebrations from Sept 18-19.
A KU release issued here on Tuesday asked all the alumni to contact the department by Sept 16.
Meanwhile, the vice-chancellor of the University of Karachi, Prof Pirzada Qasim Raza Siddiqui, on Tuesday sent a bouquet to Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan.
Prof Pirzada expressed his best compliments for Dr Khan, through a card, and prayed for his speedy recovery.—PPI
