KARACHI, Aug 15: MSC Germany carrying containers was berthed at the QICT on Monday, while three ships, including two container ships and one chemicals carrier, sailed out during last 24 hours, said a PQA press release here on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, three more ships with containers and diesel oil also arrived at the outer anchorage.

MSC Germany, Sinar Botang, Adrekni, Multan, Constantinos-G, Yanaseni, Liquid Success, Warbah and Dixie Monarch, are currently occupying berths to load and offload containers, cement, sugar, chemicals and coke.

A cargo volume of 55,927 tons comprising 45,064 tons imports and 10,863 tons exports inclusive of containerized cargo carrying out 1,098 containers (TEUs) was handled during the last 24 hours.
