PESHAWAR, Aug 7: NWFP Health Minister Inayatullah Khan has said that the provincial government assigned top priority to capacity-building of health personnel, adding that concrete steps were being taken to develop the human resource sector.

He was addressing the inaugural session of a three-day workshop on financial management arranged jointly by DFID and TAMA with the collaboration of Provincial Finance Department for the officers of National Programme for Family Planning and Primary Healthcare and Population Welfare Department here on Monday.

The workshop was aimed at improving skills of the finance managers.

DIR PROJECT WELCOMED: Upper and Lower Dir MPAs Farid Khan, Muzaffar Said and Saeed Gull called on NWFP Senior Minister Sirajul Haq here and thanked him and the provincial government for obtaining extension for years of the Dir Area Support Project.

The five-year project had ended last month.
