NAWABSHAH, Aug 7: The Nawabshah police booked five persons on Monday for sexually assaulting a married woman. Rano Channa, resident of the Faiz Channa village, had lodged an FIR at the Mirzapur police station under section 10/4 of the Zina and Hudood Ordinance against five persons Bhaledino Channa, Bashir Channa, Noor Mohammad and two unidentified people stating that he was taking his wife, Gulshad Channa, to her parents’ home on July 23 when the accused stopped hem, tied him up and sexually assaulted his wife.

The SHO of Mirzapur police station said that the case was registered on the directives of the district and sessions judge of Nawabshah. No arrest was made till the time of filing this report.
