By Our Correspondent

SAHIWAL, June 28: A former police inspector, allowed the pension rights by the Supreme Court, has sought the help of chief minister to finalise his case. A division bench admitted his appeal on November 29, 2003 and allowed him the pension rights with effect from October 12, 2000.

His case was sent to the local District Accounts Office which delayed the process on his case because he did not grease the palm of the officials concerned. In the process, Fida lost his eyesight.

He sent an appeal to the chief minister who ordered stern action against the DAO Chaudhry Ashraf and finalization of the pension case without further delay.
