Carla lifts title

ISLAMABAD, June 20: Carla Khan on Tuesday won the National Women's Squash Championship in Bhurban defeating Maria Toor Pakay in straight games. The England-based Carla, ranked 41 in the world needed just about half an hour to complete a 9-4, 9-0, 9-3 victory.

Given a bye in the first round, the championship was a stroll for Carla all through as she scored crushing victories in the quarterfinals and semifinals.
