KARACHI, June 20: A group of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and Pakistani investors announced the formation of Pak-GCC Investment Council (PGIC) to facilitate businessmen from the GCC countries investing in Pakistan.
A statement issued here on Tuesday said that the founding members of the council include Sheikh Salman Dawood Al Sabah, a leading businessman and investor from Kuwait; M Zafar Ali, president, Z-Tech Inc.; and Shams Faiz, senior partner, International Investor, Kuwait.
Chief patron, Sheikh Salman Dawood Al Sabah said, “PGIC will be developing investment opportunities between Pakistan and the GCC countries through coordination of efforts between the governments and the private sector on matters of foreign direct investment.—APP
