AJK premier accepts minister’s resignation

MUZAFFARABAD, June 12: Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir Sardar Sikandar Hayat on Monday accepted the resignation of another member of his cabinet, who joined an opposition party after he did not get Muslim Conference’s ticket to contest the upcoming general elections.

Chaudhry Yasin Gulshan, minister for Zakat and Usher, had sought the ruling Muslim Coference’s ticket from LA-17, Poonch-I but the party’s parliamentary board had rejected his application and instead awarded ticket to Abdul Qayyum Niazi.
