Computers for press clubs

ISLAMABAD, May 20: Information Technology Ministry Awais Leghari said his ministry would provide free computers and internet connectivity to press clubs, and organise workshops for journalists and mass communication students to equip them with necessary tools of information communication technologies.

The minister was speaking to a group of students of mass communication from the Islamia University Bahawalpur at his office here on Saturday. He said journalists and students needed IT skills to be more competitive in their endeavours to create awareness about social and moral issues.
