SUKKUR, May 20: Hundreds of people staged a rally and then observed a token hunger strike in front of the press club on Friday in protest against the demolition of Sindhi localities, inflation, unemployment and lawlessness.
The protesters led by local leaders of Sindh People’s Youth (Shaheed Bhutto), Fateh Mohammad Zardari, Qazi Tariq and others marched from Shaheed Bhutto office and ended the rally in front of the press club, where they observed a four-hour token hunger strike.
