Cotton institute

KARACHI, March 20: Federal Minister for Textile Industry Mushtaq Ali Cheema has said that a cotton research institute is being established at Multan to help improve the research work in order to produce quality cotton as per international requirements.

He stated this during a meeting with the members of the All Pakistan textile Mills Association (Aptma), says a statement on Monday. The meeting discussed the problems relating to textile industry.

The minister expressed the hope that the institute would also help the growers in getting better yields.—APP
