KARACHI: Free medical camp


KARACHI, March 12: Over 328 patients, including 123 women, were diagnosed as requiring cataract surgery at a free medical camp organized by the Al-Mustafa Welfare Society at Orangi Town on Sunday.

A large number of surgeries were carried out on Sunday while the rest of the patients will be operated on Monday.

The AMWS had carried out 36 cornea transplantations while 130 people were treated for Gulocoma and 3,216 cataract surgeries were carried out at free medical camps organized during the year 2005.—Staff Reporter
