Basketball: Jehanzeb leads from front
KARACHI, March 8: The City School Darakhshan Campus clinched the inaugural Inter-school basketball title when they overpowered CAS School 48-46 in the final played on Wednesday.
Raja Jahanzeb, top scorer of the tournament, anchored his team to a brilliant victory by accumulating as many as 28 points and received good support from Hasan Anwar (8), Maaz Sultan (8) and Sameel Haider (5).
Captain Zafar Hasnain emerged as the highest scorer with 15 including two three pointers while Dominik Flothow (11) and Hammad Aftab (11) also played well from losers.
CAS School’s Hammad Aftab was named Player-of-the-Tournament.—APP
