Three fall prey to hepatitis

SAHIWAL, Feb 10: Four people died of hepatitis and meningitis at the DHQ Hospital here on Thursday. Reports said Khalid (17) of Chak 95/6-R, Sadiq (40) of Chak 113/7-R, and Jahangir (22) of Noorshah, all suffering from hepatitis, were brought unconscious to hospital, but they could not survive. Ataullah (25) of Pakpattan died of meningitis.

The hospital has reportedly no proper medicines for the treatment of hepatitis patients.—Correspondent
