QUETTA, Jan 30: Muharram moon was sighted here on Monday and Ashura will be on Feb 9, Central Ruet-i-Hilal Committee Chairman Mufti Munibur Rahman has announced.
The meeting for sighting of the moon was held at the office of the deputy chief administrator, Auqaf, at revenue civil secretariat.
Director-General of the Central Ruet-i-Hilal Committee Habibur Rahman, members of the central and provincial Ruet-i-Hilal committees attended the meeting.—APP
