Killers of constable held

SARGODHA, Dec 24: Sar-godha police on Saturday claimed to have arrested two outlaws involved in the killing of a constable about a month ago. DPO Muhammad Naeem Khan told reporters that constable Muhammad Irfan was on patrol duty near Chak 11-NB on Nov 24 last when three armed men riding a bicycle had killed him.

He said the police arrested two accused – Arshad Masih and Muhammad Aslam while their third accomplice would be arrested shortly.

He claimed that the gangsters were also involved in highway robberies.
