KARACHI: Dec 23: Children from the Catholic Archdiocese of Karachi dedicated the 6th Annual Carnival of Carols - a festival of singing Christmas carols – to child survivors of the earthquake in Pakistan.

A brief multimedia presentation showing images of surviving children reminded all of the tragic calamity that hit the country, a press release said on Friday.

More than 400 children from various parishes of the archdiocese assembled last night on the lawns of the St Lawrence’s Church in Garden East, Karachi and sang two sets of traditional Christmas carols in amazing unison.

Hundreds of people in a festive mood joined the children in singing the carols. Desmond Vaz conducted the service.—PPI
