Victories for Hydri Baloch, Muhammadan

LAHORE, Dec 20: Baloch Muhammadan and Hydri Baloch registered identical 3-2 wins over Kalri Star Club and Malir National Club in the second phase of the third KASB Premier Football League at Azam Nagar ground, Qasimabad, Liaquatabad on Tuesday.

According to PFF, Baloch Muhammadan dominated the match right from the word go and grabbed lead in the 19th minute through Gul Hassan.

Kalri Star replied in the 27th minute with a goal through their striker Habib to level the score 1-1. But Baloch Muhammadan restored the lead 2-1 through Majid Sr hardly a minute later.

Kalri started the second half on a positive note and pulled level 2-2 in the second minute when Javed Ibrahim cashed in on a free-kick.

Baloch Muhammadan’s midfielder Abid Ali slammed the all-important winner in the 10th minute to steer his side to win 3-2.

In the other match, Hydri Baloch’s striker Shahroz registered the fastest goal of the event by scoring in the 30th second against Malir National.

Hydri doubled the lead in the seventh minute through Fareed Ahmed to lead 2-0 at the interval.

Malir National recovered to slam a goal in the seventh minute of second half through Pervez. But Hydri’s Riaz Ahmed made it 3-1 in the 55th minute.

A minute later Pervez reduced the margin 3-2, but his side failed to snatch the equalizer and the match went to Malir National.—APP
