HYDERABAD, Dec 12: Two women were injured in Chang village in the Hatri police station area on Monday after they were fired upon by a person.

Hatri police said Ayaz Chang fired on his wife, Reema, and her mother Sadori in their house as his estranged wife refused to go with him.

Both the women suffered serious injuries and were taken to the civil hospital.

Reema had a miscarriage when she was eight-month pregnant.

Police said that the woman had left her husband following some differences.

The man went to her parents’ house and forced her to accompany him but she refused.

Ayaz was accompanied by Niaz Chang.

The girl’s family told police that Reema was being ill-treated by her husband and for that reason she left him.

They said the man was not able to give her money for routine household expenses.

An FIR has been lodged on her father’s complaint.
