ISLAMABAD, Nov 30: The Central Board of Revenue (CBR) collected Rs243.2 billion during the July-November period of the current fiscal year, which is Rs2.1 billion more than the target set for the period. Provisional figures released here on Wednesday showed that revenue collection registered a growth of 18.6 per cent during the period under review when compared with the collection of Rs205.121 billion during the same period last year.

On monthly basis, the CBR collected Rs42.9 billion during the month of November 2005 as against Rs38.49 billion the same month last year, a growth of 11.45 per cent.
