He charged that that in the donors' conference there were few donations and more loans. FC sources said here today they were tipped today that some terrorists intended to smuggle huge quantity of arms and ammunition for act of subversion. A raiding team was sent to Khaliqabad and Gwarizai in Tehsil Mangochar between Mastung and Kalat along RCD highway. This team foiled a bid to smuggle huge quantity of arms and ammunition. Fifteen killed in market bombing in Iraq's Kirkuk KIRKUK, Iraq, Nov 22 (APP/AFP) - Fifteen people were killed and 25 wounded Tuesday when a suicide bomber blew himself up in a packed marketplace in the northern Iraqi city of Kirkuk, police said. Police who rushed to the market after a small explosion was reported were ambushed by the bomber who rammed a police car with his vehicle, setting off a large explosion. At least 20 shops were damaged, five cars destroyed and a number of the victims, many of them policemen, were burnt to death, according to police Brigadier General Adel Zein al-Din. US soldiers and police cordoned off the area following the explosion which occurred at around 7 pm (1600 GMT) when the food market was packed with shoppers. The RJD, which won about 65 seats with counting continuing in one electorate, conceded defeat. In the four provinces the NAB completed investigation into 616 cases involving 339 government servants, 122 politicians, 101 businessmen and seven ex-military men, besides 47 other cases. More than 500 cases were under investigation while 456 cases had been closed, the spokesman said. By November 7, 2005, the NAB had put up 866 cases in accountability courts in the four provinces out of which 542 were decided and 324 were in progress, he said.(Posted @ 19:25 PST) PCB reports Inzamam’s run-out to ICC FAISALABAD, Nov 22 (APP): Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has conveyed its concern to the International Cricket Council (ICC) regarding the apparently unlawful dismissal of Inzamamul Haq on the second day of the Test match at Faisalabad, said a press release of PCB Tuesday.The relevant law No. 38 (2) states as follows: "..a batsman is not Run out if (a) he has been within his ground and has subsequently left it to avoid injury, when the wicket is put down". It is evident that Inzamam took evasive action to avoid injury and according to the laws should not have been given out.
