KARACHI, Nov 12: Skipper Moin Khan struck an undefeated 45 to steer Karachi Harbour (KH) to a thrilling two-wicket win over Quetta on the third day of their Quaid-i-Azam Cricket Trophy Silver League Championship match at UBL Sports Complex ground Saturday despite an 11-wicket haul by pacer Azharullah.

Set 216 to win, KH resuming at their overnight score of 141 for three wickets, slumped to 178 for eight wicket before winning.

Quetta paceman Azhar after taking six for 66 in the first innings, grabbed five for 77 in 20 overs in the second to end with a match haul of 11 for 143 but his effort went in vain.

Moin and Irfanuddin saw KH through by sharing a match winning 39-run ninth wicket stand. Moin banged five fours and a six in his 45 off 55 deliveries after 91 minute stay at the crease. Irfan’s contribution was only four runs.
