Centurion Afaq defies LR

LAHORE, Nov 12: A fine century by Afaq Rahim for Islamabad was the significant feature of the drawn match against Lahore Ravi in the Quaid-i-Azam Trophy Silver League at Mirpur Cricket Stadium, AJK on Saturday.

Afaq struck 140 with 22 boundaries off 233 balls as Islamabad were 228 for five in the second innings when further proceedings were called off.

Earlier, Lahore Ravi declared their first innings at 453 for eight after resuming at 447-8.
