More probables for trials

LAHORE, Oct 20: Nine more probables were called to appear in the four-day trials being held at the Jinnah Stadium, Islamabad from Oct 22 to select Pakistan team for the 14th Asia Cup qualifying round and the SAFF Championship.

The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) president Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat has already approved the names of 63 probables for the trials and with the addition of nine more the total number of probables has become 72.

Pakistan will meet Bangladesh in the Asia Cup qualifiers on home and away basis on Nov 11 and Nov 18.

The SAFF Championship is scheduled to be held at the Peoples Stadium, Karachi from Dec 7 to 17 in which all eight countries of the region are featuring.

Probables: Yasir Afridi, Khalid Zaman (Wapda), Ali Ehsan (Punjab), Muhammad Waseem (D.I.Khan), Abdul Shakoor (Peshawar), Rao Muhammad Yamin (POF), Umar Daraz, Muhammad Shabbir and Muhammad Imran.
