Superb knock by Danial
KARACHI, Oct 20: Superb unbeaten knock of 73 by Danial Ahsan helped Omer CC to trounce Asghar Ali Shah (AAS) CC by 58 runs in Aga Khan Gymkhana (AKG) Twenty-20 Cup Ramazan cricket League on Wednesday at AKG Ground.
Batting first, Omer CC scored 167 for five wickets in their stipulated overs. Danial’s struck five cracking boundaries and two huge sixes.
Asad also batted well for his 31 that includes two sixes while Naeem made 27.
Fayyaz Ahmed with figures 2-24 was the most successful bowler For AAS. Despite fine knock by Fayyaz who made 50 the AAS were bowled out for 109.
SM Babar also played well for his unbeaten 22. Saqib Zia gave away only 10 runs while snatching two wickets.—Agencies
