Match-winning double act by Mansoor

KARACHI, Oct 20: A match-winning all-round exploits by Mansoor Baig steered Dewan Farooq Motors (DFM) to a convincing 31 runs victory over Bed & Bath in the 20th Karachi Gymkhana Ramazan festival cricket at KG ground on Thursday.

Mansoor, declared Man-of-the-Match hammered five fours and two sixes off only 61 deliveries in helping his team to post a formidable 190 for five wickets in their allotted 25 overs.

He received good support from Akhtar Bangash (36) and Waqas Kundi (24).

Despite a swashbuckling 62 off 47 balls by Jahanzeb, Bed & Bath were bowled out for 159 in 23.2 overs.

Faisal Mirza and Mansoor Baig shared the bowling honours claiming three wickets each for 39 and 19 runs.
