FIFA’s help for relief fund

ISLAMABAD, Oct 12: The head of football’s international governing body FIFA has convened a meeting to decide on holding matches to raise funds for Pakistan earthquake victims.

Joseph S. Blatter said this in a letter to the president of Pakistan Football Federation (PFF), Makhdoom Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat.

The FIFA head while expressing his deep sense of shock over the loss of life in the devastating earthquake said the money generated from the matches would be spent on health and rehabilitation of the affected people.
