KARACHI: Five illegal hydrants demolished


KARACHI, Sept 29: The staff of Liaquatabad Town in an operation on Thursday demolished five illegal hydrants operating along the Orangi Nullah in the Liaquatabad Town.

Seven persons were arrested for resisting the operation carried out under the supervision of Town Caretaker Ghufran Ahmed. The town staff also demolished illegal construction of 15 shops on 12 to 15 feet of additional space in UC-9, Firduas Colony and restricted the shops to their lawful space.—APP
