KARACHI, Sept 27: Seven ships, including a car carrier with 200 units, are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Wednesday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where five ships, Shalamar and Nolowati, to offload oil, Atlantic Express and Sea Breeze to unload and load containers, and Yang Jiang He, to offload and load containers, were berthed.

Five vessels, Corin Thaikos, Troyburg, Gull Horizon, Atlantic Express and Sunrise Ocean, departed on Tuesday, while Free Envoy, Angela, Yang Jiang He, Kota Mesra, Sea Breeze, Nolowati, Ever Guard, Shalamar and Daarya Raag are due to sail out on Wednesday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where a total tonnage of 0.124m tons comprising 7,873 tons of export cargo, including 1,116 tons of cement, and 0.116 tons of import cargo, which also included 7,430 tons of sugar, was handled.

The following ships are due on Wednesday: Johar, with crude oil, Kota Teraju, Hyundai Advance, Kota Wangi, YM Energy, Thor Captain, with containers, and Fu Yuan Kuo, with 200 cars.
